Granted he's one tall son of a gun, but it still doesn't prevent me from doing a double take every time I see his bike locked up to something. I think he may deliver for Maritime Messengers. Great use of an old bike. Solid.

Driving through Boyle Heights this morning on the way to DTLA I saw this banner stretched over the road. It seems as though some of the people in East LA do not like Donald Trump.

Seen his books, seen his work online...but never saw Mapplethorpe work in real life. His tonal range is so impressive. The exhibit was mixed in that The Getty displayed the tame floral work as well as some fisting shots.
