Seriously hip-shaking beats with a very soft centre! What and who inspires you and influences your sound? I've always been inspired by jazz and Herbie Hancock is my hero. He's never stood still, he's always changed his sound, he's always innovated and his curiosity with technology is the same as mine. I also love Weather Report, anything on ECM and modern hip-hop soul. House music isn't something I listen too; it's something I live and do. Can you tell us a little about this mix and what it means to you? I've curated 28 Mucho Arigato playlists on Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/you/sets so far. The Mucho Arigato selection is quite a mix of different genres. It's also a compilation of my photographs. You'll notice that each playlist cover acts like an album cover of sorts.

I'm a huge fan of electro, groove, r&b and indie. The great thing about Soundcloud is that I can dig for very obscure tracks, edits or remixes. The family of Mucho Arigato playlists are inspired by my life here in Los Angeles and travels abroad. When I'm shooting in London, I'm looking for vibe X. Then when I'm in Australia, I'm looking for vibe Y. There is no pattern to how frequently these playlists will be published. When I find good tracks and shoot interesting photos, I'll publish a new one.
